Norfolk Hotel Saigon Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, stocked with fruits; However, there was a persistent unpleasant smell until the early hours of the morning. The service was excellent, with very polite and helpful staff, though my backpacking days are long gone. The location was great, right in the heart of the city with plenty of attractions within walking distance. The dining experience was amazing, especially with the selection of well-priced Australian and USA beef. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the hotel.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of downtown, making it perfect for visiting major tourist sites. The rooms, although clean and comfortable, may not fit a baby cot due to limited space. The service, especially during breakfast time, is exceptional with friendly and caring staff. However, the busy area results in heavy traffic congestion during rush hours.

I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms at this hotel. They were clean, offered great city views, and exceeded my expectations for the price we paid, making it a fantastic value for money. However, the shower was a bit small for my liking. The service was exceptional, with extremely friendly and attentive staff who were always ready to help. The location was very good, with easy access to many attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, but be prepared for heavy traffic during rush hours. The dining options were excellent, with a mix of Western and Asian cuisine, though slightly pricier compared to other hotels I visited on this trip. Overall, I really enjoyed staying here, especially with plenty of fantastic dining choices in the area around the hotel.

The hotel has a strategic location in the busy city center, within easy walking distance to many major tourist sites in Ho Chi Minh. The rooms are well-sized and very clean but lacked a balcony despite being advertised, and some rooms did not have a window. The dining options offer a good selection of both western and Vietnamese dishes, and the breakfast is included. On the downside, there is a weird smell in the room, and the service was a bit slow in attending to requests initially.

The value for money exceeded my expectations, although the room size was a bit smaller than anticipated. The bathroom was substandard, making it hard to relax with poor air conditioning and a hot atmosphere for sleeping.
